As a fan of the previous 3 Vaco releases and seeing them live multiple times, i was extremely dissappointed by this album. The majority of the album is too slow and bland for Vaco. The remake of Walk to Work is a poor attempt at recreating their great live performances of it. But one of the best parts of the song on the last album and live were the smashing keyboard chords, that are curiously missing. Pick your poison is a terrible attempt at mainstream success, but just because a song is "poppy" doesnt mean it wont sound like crap. Chorus is lame and so are the rest of the lyrics. What saves this album is Bumpin fresh, which is a fun song, thats especially good live. Also places people is good, alot like some of the R&R party tracks. And the secret track of No diggity is clearly the best song on the cd. The last track alone salvaged the purchase from being a waste of money. Finally the cd is an average album but for a band as creative as VaCo, it is mediocre.
