As the tracks can be sampled here on amazon, little needs to be said about this type of music these guys make. One suspects that, because the band is so much fun and doubtless a must attend concert, the reviews here are including a couplefew stars of good will in their ratings. The stuff on this album isn't that great. The vocals aren't top notch for, after all they are sung in heavily, and I mean heavily, accented English that would be difficult to comprehend even in the most ordinary circumstances, never mind when being shouted out above the din of a heavy metal background. The din, too, leaves a bit to be desired because this band isn't tight in the way that TMGE, for instance is, and their dissonance sometimes has the feel of being unintended, I think.Anyway, I give the band five stars for being endearing and entertaining but only one or two for their originality and compositional skills, two or three for their musicianship. Not recommended, actually, but I bet their live show kills.
