I have spent the last 25 years working with children with reading disabilities and other learning issues, and I have to take some time to review this delightful story which is written and illustrated by the author, Jonna Doreen Magnussen. This book is a favorite of every child who picks it up to look at the vibrant and lively illustrations. Yet, this book is not just beautiful and visually captivating to children, but the story of a young girl who takes her brother by the hand and leads him through the night, showing no fear, giving only comfort, understanding, and encouragement. "Go With The Moon" is a lovely story not only for the early childhood classroom and library but also excellent for a child's night table for that evening story. Just excellent.
